About the Role:

As a Solutions Sales Professional – AI Business Solutions (Modern Workplace), you will lead customer conversations on AI-powered productivity and collaboration, helping teams adopt Copilot and Modern Work solutions in a way that is secure, practical, and tied to real business value. You will build pipeline, run consultative discovery, and orchestrate internal and partner resources to remove blockers and drive successful pilots and rollouts; ultimately improving end-user productivity and accelerating customer outcomes.⁠⁠⁠

What You Will Do:

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote Microsoft 365 and AI productivity solutions.
  • Maximize program funding eligibility and meet Sales Performance Funding (SPF) goals.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales revenue targets for modern work solutions.

New Customer Acquisition

  • Enterprise Accounts: Lead the pursuit and closure of new enterprise accounts, working closely with the Enterprise Account Manager (EAM).
  • SMB Accounts: Independently close modern work sales in new SMB accounts with technical team support, then transition the account to the SMB AM team.

Upsell and Cross-Sell in Existing Accounts

  • Enterprise Accounts: Collaborate with the EAM as part of the pursuit team to identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • SMB Accounts: Support the SMB team in identifying and nurturing upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Customer Engagement and Program Funding Maximization

  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments using SPIN methodology to tailor solutions.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demos of Microsoft 365 capabilities.
  • Guide customers in accessing and utilizing program funds effectively.

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work closely with internal teams including technical specialists, Account Managers, and SOAs.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft and other partners to stay updated on offerings, incentives, and funding programs.

Market Intelligence and Reporting

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the modern workplace.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market feedback.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT solutions sales; experience in modern workplace or productivity tools is a strong advantage.
  • Proven success in B2B sales and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 licensing and deployment models.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365).

Certifications (Preferred but not required)

  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals or equivalent
