About the Role:

As a Solutions Sales Professional – Cybersecurity, you will be the driving force behind Tech One’s cybersecurity revenue growth. You will identify and engage with enterprise and SMB clients, understand their security challenges, and deliver tailored Microsoft cybersecurity solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage program funding to maximize customer impact and business outcomes.

What You Will Do:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote Microsoft Cybersecurity solutions.
  • Reach maximum program funding eligibility and meet SPF goals.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales revenue targets for cybersecurity solutions.

New Customer Acquisition:

  • Enterprise Accounts
    • Take the primary role in landing new enterprise accounts to close cybersecurity sales. 
    • Form and lead the pursuit team, working in tandem with the Enterprise Account Manager (EAM).
  • SMB Accounts
    • Close Cybersecurity sales in new SMB accounts independently with support from the technical team.
    • Transition the account to the SMB AM team after closing the first sale.
  • Upsell and Cross-Sell in Existing Accounts:
  • Enterprise Accounts:
    • Be part of the pursuit team, working in tandem with the EAM.
    • Play a shadow role in engagements to identify, nurture and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • SMB Accounts:
    • Work as a shadow resource in tandem with the SMB AM team to identify, nurture and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Customer Engagement and Program Funding Maximization:

  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments ( SPIN methodology) to understand customer requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of cybersecurity solutions to prospective clients.
  • Guide customers through the process of accessing and utilizing cybersecurity assessments and program funds effectively.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including technical specialists and Account Managers, SOAs to ensure seamless solution delivery.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft and other partners to stay informed about the latest offerings, incentives, and funding programs.

Market Intelligence and Reporting:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system. 
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market feedback. 

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT solutions sales; cybersecurity experience is a strong advantage.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, especially in acquiring new logos and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft cybersecurity offerings and licensing models.
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365).
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., threat detection, identity management, cloud security).
  • Strategic thinking and market analysis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
