About the Role:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will improve how we build, release, and operate software in production. You will design and run secure CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code, and ensure our platforms are observable, reliable, and cost-efficient. You will partner closely with engineers to reduce lead time to production and improve system stability.
What You Will Do:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable safe, fast delivery, including automated testing, quality gates, and deployment controls.
- Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred; ARM templates acceptable depending on platform needs).
- Operate and improve container platforms (Kubernetes), including deployments, scaling, configuration, and runtime troubleshooting.
- Implement GitOps and release practices (versioning, promotion across environments, rollback strategies, and change control).
- Improve platform reliability through incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive automation
- Implement and maintain security and compliance controls across build and runtime (secrets management, least privilege, image scanning, policy enforcement).
- Build observability for services and infrastructure: metrics, alerting, dashboards, and performance tuning using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and extend into logs/traces as needed.
- Partner with development teams to improve engineering workflows, reliability standards, and documentation.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Core Expertise: Expert proficiency in DevOps with at least 3 years of experience in DevOps roles
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and modern software delivery approaches
- Cloud & Containerization: Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms, plus Docker and Kubernetes
- Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate processes
- Problem‑Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively
- Good‑to‑Have Skills (any of the following):
- Infrastructure & Automation: Terraform, Ansible, Helm, ArgoCD, Openshift
- CI/CD & Version Control: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bamboo
- Monitoring & Quality: Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace, Sonarqube, Artifactory/JFrog
- Collaboration Tools: Jira, Confluence, Atlassian suite
- Cloud DevOps: AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeCommit
