About the Role

The Managed Services Lead (MSL) provides strategic oversight and operational leadership for the organization’s managed services portfolio. This role ensures that service delivery teams meet client expectations, contractual obligations, and business objectives, while driving innovation, workforce optimization, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do:

Strategic Service Leadership

  • Define and execute the managed services strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee multiple service delivery streams to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
  • Drive initiatives for automation, cost optimization, and service innovation.

Client & Business Engagement

  • Act as an escalation point for critical client issues across service portfolios.
  • Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
  • Collaborate with Sales/Account Management to support renewals and new opportunities.

Operational Excellence

  • Monitor service performance across portfolios, ensuring SLA/OLA compliance.
  • Standardize service delivery processes, tools, and reporting frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL, ISO, and regulatory standards.

People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop Service Delivery Managers and technical leads.
  • Drive workforce planning, succession planning, and skills development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in IT service delivery/operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in managed services within CSP, IT-BPM, or technology environments.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-client, multi-service portfolios.
  • Deep understanding of ITIL, cloud services, and managed infrastructure.
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder management.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Strategic thinker with operational execution capability.
  • Financial management (P&L, cost optimization, pricing models).
  • Ability to drive transformation and service innovation.
  • ITIL v4 Managing Professional or Strategic Leader.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project/program management certification.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) highly desirable.
  • ISO/COBIT/Lean Six Sigma certifications a plus.
